Exam and credential pathway
The exam evaluates AMS principles, implementation planning and execution, performance evaluation, continual improvement and certification-audit preparation.
Passing the exam allows application for an eligible PECB ISO 55001 Implementer credential. Professional experience and verified AMS project activity determine the credential tier; the Lead Implementer credential is not automatic.
Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.

The 12-month period for the first examination, included free retake and certification application begins on the purchase date.
