Exam and credential pathway
The exam covers Six Sigma principles, DMAIC implementation, data-based decisions, project planning, statistical tools and organizational process improvement.
Passing the exam enables an application to a PECB Six Sigma Green Belt designation. The provisional route lists no experience requirement; the full Green Belt designation requires the specified professional and Six Sigma project experience, together with application and ethics requirements.
Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.

The 12-month period for the first examination, included free retake and certification application begins on the purchase date.
