Exam and credential pathway

The exam evaluates FSMS principles and requirements, implementation planning and execution, monitoring, continual improvement and certification-audit preparation.

Passing the exam allows application for an eligible PECB ISO 22000 Implementer credential. The applicable tier depends on verified professional experience and FSMS project activity; passing alone does not automatically confer the Lead Implementer credential.

Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.

The 12-month period for the first examination, included free retake and certification application begins on the purchase date.
