Exam and credential pathway

The exam assesses FSMS principles and ISO 22000 requirements together with audit preparation, execution, closure and audit-program management.

Passing the exam permits application for an eligible PECB ISO 22000 Auditor credential. Professional experience and verified FSMS audit activity determine the credential tier; passing alone does not award the Lead Auditor title.

Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.

For official course details, see the PECB ISO 22000 Lead Auditor page.
