This Foundation course introduces the CMMC model, its levels, domains and practices, the surrounding ecosystem, assessment process and professional-conduct expectations. It provides baseline knowledge for people working with organizations in the U.S. defense supply chain.

Exam and credential pathway

The PECB examination covers CMMC concepts, the ecosystem and conduct code, and the model's domains, practices and assessment process.

Passing the exam enables an application to the PECB Certificate Holder in CMMC Foundations designation. The official route lists no experience requirement and requires acceptance of the PECB Code of Ethics. This is a PECB credential and is not approved by Cyber AB.

Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.

Access and activation

The 12-month period for the first examination, included free retake and certification application begins on the purchase date.

Each order covers one learner. Wadi Solutions begins processing the PECB registration within one business day, and activation details are sent to the learner's email. Required enrolment details are shared with PECB for activation.
