Exam and credential pathway
The exam focuses on food-safety management principles and the ISO 22000 requirements for an FSMS.
After passing the exam, the candidate may apply for the applicable PECB ISO 22000 Foundation certificate-holder designation. PECB lists no professional, audit or project-experience requirement for the entry-level credential, while application and ethics requirements remain applicable.
Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.
