A coniferous tree of the Cypress genus, evergreen, reaching up to 35 meters in height, with a conical crown that narrows as it rises, and flat, dense, upright branches. It is considered one of the most important long-lived ornamental trees, with some trees exceeding a thousand years of age.

Its flowers are pale yellow with a pleasant scent, blooming from March to May.
Growing season for the Italian Cypress tree:
The suitable time for planting with cuttings and seeds is in the spring and autumn. The appropriate time to transplant the Cypress from a pot to another or into sustainable soil is during dormancy, i.e., in December and January. It can also be cultivated from seeds throughout the year in agricultural reserves and enclosed or plastic places where temperature can be controlled, sunlight is available, or adequate lighting exists.
Climate and suitable soil for the Italian Cypress tree:
Prefers a moderate climate. It also favors mountainous and elevated areas. It tolerates drought, frost, and high temperatures. It grows in all well-drained soils, and planting it prevents soil erosion.
