Exam and credential pathway

The exam evaluates CMS principles, implementation initiation and planning, execution, monitoring, continual improvement and certification-audit preparation.

Passing the exam allows application for an eligible PECB ISO 37301 Implementer credential. Provisional, implementer, lead and senior tiers carry different professional-experience and CMS project-activity requirements.

Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.

The 12-month period for the first examination, included free retake and certification application begins on the purchase date.
