Exam and credential pathway
The exam focuses on service-management principles, the SMS and ISO/IEC 20000-1 clauses 4–10.
After passing the exam, the candidate may apply for the PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation designation. PECB lists no professional, audit or project-experience requirement for this entry-level credential, while application and ethics requirements remain applicable.
Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.
