The world as you see the colors

It is the indications of colors.. with their multiple worlds, formed from scenes, languages, customs, and beliefs of all societies in which such indications manifest. And with astonishing similarities across the world over the centuries; at first glance, these connections seem obvious to the point of banality, but banal expressions were not so except for containing some truth, for their strength and reason for endurance is due to their simplicity. This book explores with the reader - on a journey full of possibilities - the persistent presence of colors through which we see the people, places, and things around us. We are involved in colors.. like the air we breathe, or the water we swim in. The book wanders from prehistoric times to the present, and from one part of this world to another, relying on literature, art, religion, philosophy, and sciences. This book is prepared as a cultural history of colors, but it has become a history: "The world as you see it through colors."
