Product description

A Colombian Infused coffee blending apricot, peach, and passion fruit with high fruity refreshment.

Tropical refreshment.. in every light sip.

The "Passion Fruit" crop presents a refreshing Colombian experience that relies on the "Infused Process" to compose complex fruity flavors in a precise manner. The Castillo variety beans, grown at an altitude of 1800 meters, shine with clear notes blending apricot, peach, and passion fruit.

Thanks to the "light to medium" roast level, this coffee retains high, fruity sweetness and a light to medium body that allows flavors to flow smoothly on the palate, supported by a light to medium acidity that adds genuine refreshment reminiscent of fresh fruit juices.

At Ninth Bar, backed by over 15 years of experience serving more than 3 million cups of specialty coffee from our Jeddah roastery, we selected this crop to be the optimal choice for fans of V60 filter brewing, where there is ample room to elegantly discover the tropical layers.

Flavor Experience:

The sip launches with a refreshment reminiscent of tropical passion fruit, centered around the softness of apricot and peach, and settles in the end with high fruity sweetness enveloping a light, comforting body that leaves a sensation of cleanliness and refreshment.

Filter brewing is the most suitable for a light to medium roast, allowing the refreshing acidity and tropical Infused flavors to appear with high intensity and clarity (adjust grind size to preferred taste).

Why You'll Love It

  • Genuine Tropical Refreshment: The Infused technique ensures the integration of passion fruit, apricot, and peach notes in a way that complements the Castillo beans.
  • Dominant Fruity Sweetness: A high sweetness level that satisfies lovers of naturally sweet and refreshing flavors.
  • Preservative Roast: A "light to medium" roast level preserves the light acidic complexity and refreshing light body.
  • Ready for the Perfect Filter: Precise roasting by Ninth Bar, designed to suit the optimal V60 starting point to discover maximum flavor layers.

FAQ

1- What distinguishes the "Infused" technique in the Passion Fruit coffee?

It is a processing technique where natural flavors (like passion fruit and apricot) are added in a precise manner to interact with the beans, creating a complex, refreshing fruity cup.

2- Why was a "light to medium" roast level chosen for this product?

Because a light roast preserves the high sweetness and light to medium fruity acidity, preventing the evaporation of the aromatic oils produced by the Infused technique.

3- Why is it recommended to brew this coffee using V60 only?

Because drip (filter) brewing highlights the light body and tropical fruity flavors purely, whereas high-pressure methods might mask this smoothness.

4- Is the acidity in this coffee harsh?

No, the acidity is classified as "light to medium and fruity," meaning it is refreshing and reminiscent of fresh fruits without causing any harshness.
