Lemon cucumber is a plant from the gourd family that reaches a length of about one meter. This type of cucumber was known at the end of the 19th century. Despite its name, lemon cucumber does not have a lemon flavor, but its name comes from its fruits, which resemble lemons in shape and size. This type is considered one of the most prolific cucumber varieties, used in salads and pickles.
