Product properties Hexasol injectable solution contains 300 mg oxytetracycline and 20 mg flunixin meglumine. Uses Hexasol is used as a broad-spectrum antibiotic for 5-6 days with one dose and an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic for 24-36 hours with one dose. Side effects and contraindications It is not used with animals suffering from heart, liver, or kidney problems because it may cause gastric ulcers and bleeding with long-term use. It is not used in cases of dehydration and anemia to increase the risk of renal poisoning. It is not used concurrently with anti-inflammatory and other antipyretic drugs within 24 hours of the dose. Dosage and administration It is given by intramuscular injection at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of live animal weight once. Duration of prohibition Meat withdrawal period: 35 days.
