DOXYVET 20% 100 G broad-spectrum antibiotic containing doxycycline, used to treat and control bacterial infections in poultry and dogs, especially respiratory and gastrointestinal infections associated with sensitive bacteria. Pharmaceutical form: powder dissolved in drinking water. Composition: Each 1 g contains: Doxycycline 200 mg. Indications for use in poultry: To treat and control respiratory diseases such as CRD, sinusitis, and air sac inflammation caused by Mycoplasma, as well as gastrointestinal infections caused by E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Chlamydia, and some large viruses. In dogs: To treat respiratory infections such as rhinitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia caused by bacteria sensitive to doxycycline like Pasteurella, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus. Target animals: Poultry, dogs. Method of use and dosages: Administered via drinking water. Poultry: 100 grams / 200 liters of drinking water for 4–5 days. Change the medicated water every 24 hours. Dogs: 5–10 mg active substance / kg of body weight every 24 hours for 4 days. Precautions / contraindications: Not used in pregnant dogs. Not used in animals allergic to doxycycline or any of its components. Not used in animals with liver or kidney dysfunction. Not used in egg-producing birds for human consumption or within 4 weeks before production. Withdrawal period: Meat: 28 days.
