METALGEN 100 ML Veterinary Injection Solution contains Dipyrone, used as a strong pain reliever, fever reducer, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory, for acute cases requiring quick and effective intervention. Composition (per 1 ml): Dipyrone: 500 mg Methyl Paraben Propyl Paraben Sodium Metabisulfite Water for Injection. Indications: Pain relief, fever reduction, treatment of muscle spasms, anti-inflammatory, useful in cases of colic, post-procedure pain, and inflammatory conditions. Target animals: Horses, dogs, cats. Dosage and administration: Given by intramuscular or intravenous injection. Both methods can be combined depending on the case. Horses: from 20 to 60 ml, average: 4 ml per 45 kg of body weight. Dogs and cats: from 1 to 5 ml, at a rate of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight. Given 2 to 3 times daily. Duration: maximum of two days or as recommended by the veterinarian. Withdrawal period: Not used in animals producing food or milk.
