الجبـة:
حياكةٌ نُسجت على مدى أزمنةٍ مضت، ولا زالت تُحاك وتُحكى تفاصيلُها، ممزوجةً ببريقِها الباهر، ودقة الأداء.
حرفيةٌ عالية، وأيادٍ حاكتها بدفء الحُب، ومعنى العطاء، وصدق الشعور، تحيكهُ النساءُ من أصوافِ الأغنام، ويتفننُ الرجالُ بتطريزه بدقةٍ مُتناهية وأداءٍ مُتقن، وتحملُ أنواعًا من التطريز، مثل الكُتلة والجرمة ورجل الغراب، ولها أربعةُ أسماء، الجُبة والبجاد والبيدي والكسى.
ولها لونٌ سائد، وهو الأبيض، ولها أيضًا لونٌ أحمر.
وللنساء نوعٌ خاص يُسمى مدارة، أو جُبة النساء.
تعيشُ الجُبة الآن صراعَ البقاء، ومقاومةَ الاندثار
نظير مكانتها الشعبية المُترسخة، وتاريخها العميق.
Al-Juba (Traditional Weaving):
Woven at a distance of bygone eras and still being woven and recounted, its details are blended with awe and precision of performance. It represents a high craftsmanship, with hands that weave it with warmth, love, and genuine emotions. Women weave it from the wool of sheep, while men excel in embroidering it with extreme precision and skill, using various types of embroidery, such as "Al-Kutla," "Al-Jarma," and "Rijal Al-Ghurab." It has four names: "Al-Juba," "Al-Bijad," "Al-Baydi," and "Al-Kusay." It has a dominant white color and also comes in red. Women have a special type called "Mudarah" or "Women's Juba."
Now, Al-Juba faces the struggle to survive and not vanish, due to its deeply-rooted popularity and long history.
