FORMULATION: Each 100 mL of Nova-Oxy LA Sterile Solution for Injection contains: Active: Oxytetracycline Dihydrate.. Inactive Substances: N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone, 2- Pyrrolidone, Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate, Magnesium Chloride 20, Monoethanolamine, L- Arginine HCL, Water for injection. INDICATIONS: .30,000 mg Nova-Oxy LA intended for the treatment of diseases sensitive to Oxytetracycline susceptible organism such as Bordetella bronchiseptica, Actinomyces pyogenes, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Pasteurella spp, Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, and mycoplasma, rickettsiae, protozoa and chlamydia are also certain organism sensitive with Oxytetracycline. Nova-Oxy LA also intended for the treatment and control of pasteurellosis, pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, erysipelas, joint-ill, navel-ill, summer mastitis in cows, ovine keratoconjunctivitis (pink-eye) and enzootic abortion in sheep. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not dilute the product. WITHDRAWAL TIME: 20mg/kg dosage: Cattle: Meat & Offal = 28 days Sheep: Meat & Offal = 28 days 30mg/kg dosage: Cattle: Meat &Offal = 35 days, Milk = 8 days Sheep: Meat & Offal = 28 days, Milk = 8 days DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Determine the body weight accurately to assure accurate dosage as possible. Administer the product by deep intramuscular injection. Use a sterile needle and syringe. Cattle and Sheep: Standard Dose: 20 mg/kg (1 mL/15 kg) for 3 to 4 days High Dose : 30 mg/kg (1 mL/10 kg) for 5 to 6 days Maximum recommended dosage at one site: Cattle : 15 mL Sheep: 5 mL STORAGE: Do not store above 30°C.
