I saw the palm trees

The first short story collection by the writer Radwa Ashour, its first edition was published in the late eighties after three of her novels. In it, she addresses scenes from life and imagination, some long, and some under the title of very short stories that do not exceed five lines; the heroes of her tales are strong women who believe in themselves despite their different circumstances and personalities. The employee, the farmer, the student, the maid, and the theater actress; all of them embody the strength of women and their abilities to change and say no.
