A creature crashing into itself

About the bookThis short story collection is not an original work. And I mean by originality here its complete independence from what preceded it in short story literature, and literature in general, in terms of form and the artistic tools used and the basic structure of the text. That is fine according to Borges, who sees that "the writer must draw his writings from old works, because the writer, as Dr. Johnson noted, does not want to be indebted to his contemporaries." But it is not a problem for me, as I am indebted to many contemporary writers, starting from Mansour Al-Ateeq and Mohammed Al-Awadi to Patrick Brun and Slavoj Žižek, who was a great entry point for understanding Hegel and Jacques Lacan and the duality of self/object, which was a central theme in many stories.
