Lazy rain on the door

Abdulmohsen Youssef is a poet without need for anyone to testify to that. As if poetry is possessed by him from his head to the soles of his feet. And in his ordinary prose writings, there is poetry that surpasses the poetry of many who write poetry and boast that they have reached with him the Sidrat al-Muntaha. And on the occasion of talking about his prose, how long I have stood at those "faces," which Abdulmohsen draws with words weekly in the supplement of Al Yaum newspaper, and what they reveal of poetic language and stance, and also what they disclose of deep and rich knowledge and broad familiarity with the landmarks of arts and literature, in addition to his ability in that weekly appearance to diagnose those he addresses with his words, or rather, to paint their images and present them to the reader in paintings worthy of appearing in one or more books. * Dr. / Abdulaziz Al-Muqallih.
