Product description

Egypt is the only land mentioned in all the heavenly books without exception, and it was explicitly crowned with mention in several places in the preserved Book, the Quran, including His saying: ﴿ So when they entered upon Joseph, he took his parents to himself and said, "Enter Egypt, if Allah wills, safe." ﴾ (Yusuf: 99). Unlike the places that were mentioned implicitly, and scholars agreed that they refer to the geographic and temporal description, also what was narrated to us in the tradition about the people of Egypt in poetry and prose, and in that there is a clear and explicit indication of the historical and storytelling value that Egypt represents, especially its historical capital "Cairo". Perhaps that is what prompted me to dedicate this story collection to Cairo, and to include many of the paradoxes experienced by its people and visitors. Number of pages: 140
