There are no strict restrictions, this is what the wise man says, those made of iron or wood or hemp threads. As for the temptation with jewelry and gemstones, the temptation with money and children and women, those, the wise man says, are the strictest restrictions that take the man to the lowest depths, although they appear in outward appearance loose and unrestrained, but how difficult it is to get rid of them. And those too are uprooted by the wise man. The free ones abandon the world, abstaining from all pleasures of the senses, without longing or desire.
