There is no doubt that we will surprise our readers that true existentialism is a philosophical trend that penetrates the history of thought back more than twenty-four centuries, and that this trend has remained until the present era meeting with religion from time to time, finding in it a source of inspiration and guidance. And since true philosophical existentialism is one of the most fertile intellectual doctrines known to humanity, the most serious, and the greatest in contributing to the progress of the mind and pushing it towards productive contemplation of the human condition, it was our duty to aim for ease, clarity, and simplicity in this brief book so that we present an honest picture as much as possible of the two existences: "the faithful and the atheist," hoping that this simplified distinction will be a beginning of detailed research.
