The born from before, by: Juan Jose Sayr

In the sixteenth century, a sailor boy sails from Spain to the New World. And there ends an exploratory land journey with a disaster when it is attacked by Native Americans and those inside are killed, leaving the little boy, to be the sole survivor, and face his destiny among them. This well-crafted novel covers an entire age. It is a reflection on memory, cultural identity, and the relationship between existence and meaning, and between alienation and the other. "The Born Before" is his most famous novel, and it is the first work available to him in Arabic. We present it with a faithful and beautiful translation by Mohamed Al-Fouli. Number of pages: 200
