Product description

This book is a journey about the reason for the backwardness of the Egyptians from the march of civilization, and the ways that help them to rise again, and the starting point they must launch from, which justifies posing the question again, after understanding most of the discourses presented by conservatives, renewers, and Westernizers during the twentieth century. And we do not want from re-raising the question to invoke the past or revive discourses that have become part of cultural heritage. Therefore, the question that the collective mind should ask is: how to go back forward? This means that we are questioning the mechanisms of reform that enable us to correct the failures we live through, the deviations, extremism we suffer from, and corruption that has infiltrated all our institutions and aspects of life. Hence, it becomes futile to ask about why we are behind, or the starting point, or the Qibla direction, because experience has proven that the true beginning of moving forward is the will of the conscious self (we start from within). Therefore, engaging with the problems of reality based on the active self is the best way and the correct approach. Dependence, imitation, importing ideologies, and transferring experiences will not lead us to what we seek. The journey of return that we must strive for begins with freeing our minds from illusions of understanding... So, it is a journey of returning forward. 199 pages
