Historical books in the Old Testament Dr. Murad Kamel Number of pages: 125 pages

The study of the Old Testament deals with the origin of the Book of the Old Testament and its history and includes three topics: first: the history of the text of the books of the Old Testament. second: investigating the circumstances and time in which each book was revealed separately. third: the history of collecting the books of the Old Testament, determining them, and the legality of the books. And the study of the Old Testament aims to explore the origin of this collection of books and their history, and these books contain the word of revelation, and they are the Holy Book of Judaism, which Christianity also considered a Holy Book. These books were called in the New Testament as the Holy Scriptures: Paul the Apostle says in his letter to the Romans 1:2 that God previously promised the Messiah through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, and Paul the Apostle says in his second letter to Timothy 3:15, "And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures."
