A gift to everyone who has tasted the meaning of love but is too proud to confess what is in their heart for the sake of pleasing their Lord. To everyone whose heart has been spared from forbidden love, waiting for eternal lawful love. A gift to that mermaid who dwelled in my heart, whom I have always prayed to my Lord in my prayers, my standing, and my supplications, that He unite me with her. I tell you: we will meet in the lawful. The message is clear, the instructions are strict, the temptations are many, and the soul is inherently inclined to evil. Some of us refused to hold the ember from the beginning, and some threw it at a certain point along the way, and some were inspired by God with patience, determination, and faith to hold on until the soul is lifted to the Most High Companion. May Allah keep us steadfast on the straight path.
