The Miserables

Les Misérables book pdf Les Misérables by Victor Hugo ... Almost no language in the world is free from more than one translation of Victor Hugo's masterpiece "Les Misérables," and it is difficult to count the number of times it has been adapted into cinema or television, and in which languages, nor the number of times it has been performed on stage. Every time, it attracts millions of people who have seen or read it multiple times. Since 1863 until today, "Les Misérables" continues to be read at an increasing pace, and if the reader tries to reread it once more, or even a third time, they will realize how much they have missed, because Les Misérables is not just a cleverly crafted and captivating plot. It is a novel of human greatness in facing the harshest circumstances, a novel of overflowing feelings of love and beauty. As much as it is a dive into the human soul with all its pettiness and grandeur, and with all its injustice and justice, and with its strength and weakness... this novel introduced us to Paris as we have never known it before, and to a period of history that followed the great French Revolution of 1789 and its most influential repercussions in the image of the modern world. This revolution, despite setbacks, pain, and sacrifices, clung to the slogans of brotherhood, equality, and freedom. It introduced us to models of characters that are unforgettable human models. And the reader of "Les Misérables" will never forget what Fantine endured to make her daughter happy, nor what Jean Valjean suffered to transform from a convict of hard labor into a man filled with goodness and love, nor what Marius and Cosette endured to turn their love into a wonderful inspiring model... Javert, Thénardier, Gavroche, Éponine, the alphabet friends, names and models with all their dignity, hatred, pride, or weakness, will remain etched in the mind of the reader of this novel.
