Tolvital (Tolfenpyrid) is a pyrazole insecticide with a dual mode of action (contact and ingestion). It is designed to control a wide range of insect pests affecting agricultural crops, offering a comprehensive solution to complex insect problems thanks to its broad spectrum of activity, which includes piercing-sucking and chewing insects, as well as some mite species.

How to use Tolvital (Tolfenbayrd)

When will it be added?

• When the lesion appears at the beginning of the infection, to ensure that it does not spread.
• During critical vegetative growth stages when insects are most active.
• It is added as part of an integrated pest management program when aphids, whiteflies, thrips, or leafworms are observed on the crop.

How to add

1. Fill half the spray tank with clean water.
2. Add the specified dose of Tolvital pesticide while stirring continuously.
3. Add the remaining amount of water while continuing to stir to ensure the solution is homogeneous.
4. Spray the solution directly onto the plants using a ground or center pivot sprinkler.

Dosage for use

Doses are approximate; please refer to the leaflet inside the package to determine the exact dose according to the crop and pest to be controlled.

• Cabbage, where the targeted pest is the aphid, 200/liter of water.
• Tomatoes and potatoes, where the target pest is the whitefly, 200/liter of water.
• Chili peppers, cucumbers, and cucurbits, where the targeted pest is thrips, 200/liter of water.

Storage and preservation

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children, animals, and food.
• Do not store below 0°C or above 35°C.
• Keep in the original package, tightly closed.
