Product description

Many ideas and doctrines specialized in spreading among certain places and peoples and not others, and there are those that originated in one place but grew and developed in another. Does personal character have an impact on the emergence of opinions and ideas? Our book answers this question, focusing specifically on the Egyptian personality, and also asks: Why did most theological doctrines come to Egypt and not originate there? Why was the Ash'ari doctrine widely spread in it? While the Fatimid did not succeed in establishing and imposing their Twelver Shia beliefs? Why did the Kharijite doctrine not spread in Egypt? Why did doctrines based on love for individuals and attachment to them spread in Egypt? This research focused on tracing the most prominent characteristics and traits of the Egyptian personality, and whether they had a tangible influence on the types of trends and different theological schools that appeared in Egypt. It began by discussing the factors behind the spread of theological doctrines, then examined the concept of national personality and its study between the old and the modern, then mentioned the most prominent traits of the Egyptian personality and the extent of their influence on the emergence and spread of theological doctrines, including: religiosity, moderation, tolerance, patience, inclination towards peace, strict centralization, openness and constant contact with others, continuity and stability. The book concluded with this.
