Summary: The scholars of Najd, both early and late, followed the same path, method, and approach, through a series whose links have not changed since the era of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal until today. The Garden (Al-Rawd) held a great status among the scholars of Najd, who paid it special attention; studying, teaching, reading, recitation, writing, judgment, fatwa, knowledge, and action. From forty handwritten copies of the book Al-Rawd Al-Murabbi, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jammaz extracted eighteen handwritten copies belonging to prominent scholars of Najd, filled with comments, quotations, notes, and annotations. Allah enabled him to present them in a manner befitting their owners, so Sheikh Al-Jammaz prepared each annotation copy by copy, then combined the comments on each issue after matching similar ones and removing repetitions, while keeping each letter as the author of the annotation intended. The researcher says: "When I saw the margins of those copies, heavily laden with comments, notes, quotations, and clarifications from those distinguished scholars... my soul was not pleased for those treasures to remain confined within their pages; since our writing until today, only a few have benefited from them." And praise be to Allah; Sheikh Al-Jammaz produced these annotations in nine volumes in the book (Annotations of Najd Scholars on Al-Rawd Al-Murabbi), as a connection to them, a link to their approach, an explanation of their methodology, and a dissemination of knowledge among its people.
