Product description

The book (The Maze of the Eternal) addresses post-humanism as a critical trend and an overarching philosophical perspective. It attempts to provide a theoretical preamble that touches on the most prominent issues and trends, as well as presenting various practical chapters that reveal the potentials of discourse and highlight new perspectives that can be invested in research and analysis. I know that a number of ideas and issues related to the discourse of the movement are sensitive and dangerous, but refraining from dealing with it for this reason is not an option in my opinion, as post-humanism seems to me to be a historical inevitability above all else, and it was inevitable for time to have its say regarding the marginalized who were not encompassed by the promises of humanism. With technology becoming a main player in shaping history, the opportunity for more voices to participate was greater. The most tempting idea—at least for me—is that post-humanism is an opportunity for us to participate in a global discussion, carrying our voices, issues, and perspectives on existence, and contributing to the intellectual debate. I see the discourse as an invitation to a party that we were not previously invited to.
