Dream, by: Arthur Schnitzler

This amazing novel tells how a simple confession between a husband and wife, over a fleeting sexual whim, led them into very private and competing inner worlds, full of revenge dreams, nearly causing their separation. "Dream" is a psychological novel about marital infidelity, breaking the taboo, and moral decay. Its events take place in Vienna at the beginning of the twentieth century, but it touches on hidden areas of the human soul in all times and places. Number of pages: 164
