Product description

The novel "Everyone Says I Love You" delves into the souls of five Arab immigrants residing in Canada and America, all of whom are middle-aged intellectuals belonging to the middle social class. The novel follows the turning points of their emotional lives and presents their thoughts about the course of their lives, their choices, and the questions that confuse them about love and betrayal. The five characters meet each other in different means of transportation – train, plane, and on the highway – and their destinies intersect and resemble each other. We explore each character's world and listen to their confessions, then this character appears in another story, as a secondary character, thus creating a complex reality composed of many perspectives. Each of them struggles with issues of language, identity, and integration into the new homeland, while they are connected to their original countries through annual visits, painful memories of tragic events, or political activities.
