Suggested preparation method
This is a suggested starter recipe from a pitcher for preparing a V60, not a toaster recipe:
- Use 15 grams of coffee with 240 grams of water at a temperature of 92–94°C.
- Start with a medium grind, moisten the filter with water, then discard the rinse water.
- Pour 45 grams of water for initial hydration, and wait 30–40 seconds.
- Continue pouring gradually until the total amount of water reaches 240 grams.
- Aim for an initial time between two and a half and three and a half minutes, then adjust the grind according to the taste of the cup.
Kaffa Roastery recommends allowing the coffee beans to rest for two weeks after roasting before use. Store the bag closed in a dry place away from heat and light.
