The APL TechLoom Zipline features a seamless TechLoom upper made from a single layer, providing excellent breathability while maintaining a lightweight feel. The tongue and collar also feature engineered ribbing to provide flexibility where needed.
The new APL TechLoom Ziplines completely surround the upper, providing both lateral and longitudinal support without compromising the shoe's flexibility. The hollow-cord APL TechLoom Ziplines help keep the shoe lightweight and well balanced, allowing you to perform at your best.
The sleek upper sits atop the APL FutureFoam midsole, which provides maximum cushioning, with an internal Soufflé sockliner offering comfortable and responsive cushioning that lasts.
The APL FutureFoam running midsole compound was developed to provide exceptional compression, rebound, and energy return, following extensive testing over 24 months.
The surface of the midsole features horizontal channels designed to improve the smoothness and flow of each stride. A forward-leaning shank plate is positioned between the two parts of the midsole to encourage forward motion upon foot strike and help accelerate the gait cycle.
The midsole sits on a lightweight two-piece rubber outsole, providing excellent traction during movement.
The new proprietary APL Soufflé sockliner provides a final layer of superior, long-lasting cushioning, giving this high-performance shoe the step-in comfort of a recovery shoe.
