The APL TechLoom Zipline introduces new construction techniques designed to enhance performance and improve the overall movement experience. The upper features a seamless TechLoom construction made from a single layer, providing excellent breathability while maintaining a lightweight feel. Engineered ribbing along the tongue and collar provides stretch where it is needed.
The new APL TechLoom Ziplines completely surround the upper, providing both lateral and longitudinal support without compromising flexibility. The hollow-cord APL TechLoom Ziplines help keep the shoe lightweight and balanced, allowing you to perform at your best .
The sleek upper sits atop the maximum-cushioning APL FutureFoam™ midsole, with an internal Soufflé Sockliner providing long-lasting and responsive cushioning.
The APL FutureFoam™ running midsole compound was developed to provide exceptional compression, rebound, and energy return following extensive testing over 24 months.
The midsole surface features horizontal channels designed to help each stride move smoothly through the air. A slanted, forward-leaning shank plate is positioned between the two-piece midsole to encourage forward motion upon foot strike and help accelerate the gait cycle.
The midsole sits on a lightweight, two-piece rubber outsole that provides excellent traction during movement.
The all-new proprietary APL Soufflé Sockliner provides a final layer of long-lasting, superior cushioning, giving this high-performance running shoe the step-in comfort of a recovery shoe.
