Product description

The author re-read the divine revelation with new mechanisms, placing in his mind that it contains divine absoluteness and human relativity in understanding, as it is like existence that does not need anything from outside to understand it, for the creator of the universe with His words is the same as the inspirer of the divine revelation with His speech, and He is Allah, the Most High. This reading led him to search for the keys to understanding the divine revelation, which are necessarily within it, and led him to reconsider the concepts of the Salaf in light of the modern cognitive systems available to him, not to doubt their intelligence or piety or good intentions, but because of his belief that they interacted with the divine revelation and exerted effort within their capabilities and knowledge base. Today, we have a different cognitive foundation that allows for a new, different reading. Dr. "Shahrour" has concluded in his contemporary reading that the divine revelation contains within its pages the prophecy of Muhammad, peace be upon him, as a prophet, and his message as a messenger, and His verses from this perspective include the verses of prophecy that explain the laws of the universe, its principles, laws of history, and the events of messages and prophecies (stories), which can be believed or denied; and the verses of the message that explain rulings, commands, and prohibitions, which accept obedience and disobedience.
