The truth about my father

Product description

In my brief memoirs about my father, I will try to consider two points: to convey the truth, and to express my thoughts simply. I will be happy to correct any idea or mistake here and there. And it is my pleasure that the reader feels that this book has provided an explanation for what was previously vague to him, and perhaps encouraged him to read Tolstoy's writings again and delve into the essence of his eternal heart's truth. Some oppose addressing the intimate aspects of prominent personalities, and their opposition increases if one of their children discusses these aspects. My response to this objection is that when we understand a person, we love him more, clarify his ideas, and get to know him as if he had lived among us. First, and second, who other than the son can understand us and talk to us about a person who is the most important and greatest to him more than anyone else? I sometimes express my personal opinions while describing my father's preaching life, and my purpose here is not to review my thoughts, but because I see that it is my duty to tell the truth, even briefly, the truth that I see as the most valuable thing in this life. I cannot force someone who disagrees with me on an idea to adopt it. In my opinion, it is better for a person to be honest and frank with himself and others rather than trying to hide from them by circumventing his conscience.
