ULTRAPOUR-F 1% – 500 ML Ultrapour-F external pour-on solution contains permethrin to combat ticks, lice, and mange in animals, with extended effectiveness lasting several weeks after use. Composition (per 1 ml) Permethrin: 10 mg Octyl Dodecanol: 80 mg Liquid Parafine: 750 ml Pharmaceutical properties Permethrin is an insecticide from the synthetic pyrethroid group (Type II), acting by contact through disrupting the nerve channels of parasites, leading to paralysis and elimination. It spreads on the skin surface within a few hours after application, providing a residual effect that lasts approximately 4 to 8 weeks depending on temperature and severity of infestation. Indications for use Used to combat: Mange (Psoroptes ovis – Chorioptes bovis – Sarcoptes bovis) Sucking lice (Linognathus vituli – Haematopinus eurysternus) Biting lice (Bovicola bovis) Ticks (Ixodes – Haemaphysalis – Rhipicephalus) Method of use and dosages Apply a pour along the back from the shoulders to the base of the tail. Dose: 20 ml per 100 kg live weight (equivalent to 2 mg permethrin per kg live weight). Notes on dosages: For Korean mange: apply the full dose on the back of the body. For severe mange: repeat the dose after two weeks. Duration of effect against ticks: about 3 weeks. It is recommended to treat all animals in the herd. Application method Dose according to live weight. Fill the container with light pressure, then pour the liquid directly onto the skin. For external use only. Target animals Cattle and livestock Side effects May cause mild irritation of the skin or mucous membranes in some cases. At very high doses (up to 10 times the recommended dose), no serious symptoms have been recorded. Drug interactions Not to be used with any other insecticide. The risk of toxicity increases when used with organophosphate compounds. Warnings and precautions Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and skin. Do not inhale fumes. Use in well-ventilated areas. Wear gloves and protective clothing during use. Wash hands and skin thoroughly after finishing. In case of spillage on skin or eyes: rinse immediately with plenty of water. In case of overdose Possible symptoms: ataxia, difficulty breathing, lethargy. Treatment: supportive only (no specific antidote).
