TYLOSAV 200 – 100 ML Tylosav 200 veterinary injection solution contains Tylosin 200 mg/ml, antibiotic from the macrolide group, designated for the treatment of sensitive bacterial infections to tylosin, especially respiratory infections and soft tissue infections in animals. Composition: Each 1 ml contains: Tylosin (as tartrate) — 200 mg Benzyl alcohol for injection Targeted species: Cattle, calves, sheep, goats, dogs, cats. Indications: For the treatment of bacterial infections sensitive to tylosin, including: Respiratory diseases in cattle (shipping fever, pneumonia). Necrotic pododermatitis. Calf diphtheria. Soft tissue infections caused by bacteria sensitive to tylosin. Method of administration: Intramuscular injection only. Dosage: 10 mg / kg of body weight, given twice daily. Duration of treatment: 3 – 5 consecutive days. The animal's weight must be accurately estimated to avoid underdosing. Withdrawal periods: Meat: 28 days. Milk: 7 days. Warnings and precautions: For veterinary use only. Not to be used in horses. Intramuscular injection may be fatal in poultry (chickens and turkeys). Not to be used in animals with known hypersensitivity to tylosin or macrolides. Change injection site if repeating doses. Avoid self-injection, wash hands after use. Storage: Keep below 30°C.
