Dishwasher salt is specially designed to prevent limescale buildup in the dishwasher which may lead to poor performance. The salt also effectively softens hard water to ensure better cleaning performance of the detergent, preventing white residue marks caused by hard water on glasses and dishes. Method of use: fill the tank according to the manufacturer's instructions. For optimal dishwashing performance, keep the salt tank full at all times. In some dishwashers, a red light flashes when the salt levels are low. Make sure to refill the salt when that happens.
