Envision® Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) Training Workshop

As Saudi Arabia continues to invest heavily in infrastructure and urban development, the need to integrate sustainability, resilience, and long-term value into infrastructure projects is becoming increasingly important.

The Envision® Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) Training Workshop, delivered by the Sustainability Professionals Academy (SPA), provides professionals with a structured understanding of the Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Framework developed by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI).

The workshop introduces participants to the Envision framework, its sustainability and resilience principles, assessment methodology, and practical application across infrastructure projects. Participants will learn how Envision can support better decision-making throughout the infrastructure project lifecycle—from planning and design through construction and operation.

The training covers the major areas addressed by Envision, including Quality of Life, Leadership, Resource Allocation, Natural World, and Climate & Resilience, with practical examples and discussions demonstrating how these principles can be applied to real infrastructure projects.

Upon completing the required training, participants will be prepared to pursue the Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) credential and access the official ENV SP examination administered by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI).

The workshop is delivered by Dr. Mohammed Al-Surf, the first Envision SP Accredited Trainer in Saudi Arabia, and is particularly relevant to professionals involved in transportation, water and wastewater, energy, infrastructure, urban development, public realm, solid waste, engineering, sustainability, planning, construction, and project management.
