The Ultra ADJ 82X regulator is designed with Twin Power flow control, managing the gas delivery rate from natural breathing to power breathing. The first is the traditional way of breathing with a Mares regulator, (VAD), while the latter (VAD+) provides an extra boost when needed. The air bypass tube delivers air to the mouthpiece, creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths. The dynamic flow control reduces intermediate pressure drop during inhalation, thus increasing gas delivery, especially in harsh conditions.
