Product description

Lattafa Fahad is the house showing it can do restraint. Released in 2026 and composed by Gael Montero and Christophe Raynaud of Givaudan, two perfumers with serious designer credits behind them, Fahad was deliberately built as the opposite of the sweet gourmands that made Lattafa famous. It opens bright and juicy, pineapple over mandarin with a crack of black pepper, then turns dry and green almost immediately as artemisia and lavender pull it into classic fougere territory. The base is where it earns its keep, patchouli and cedar threaded with a fine line of incense and lifted by ambroxan, which gives it that clean skin-close radiance that reads expensive. Fahad means leopard, and the fragrance carries that idea properly: controlled, alert, never loud for the sake of it.

This is the one to reach for when you need to smell put together rather than noticed. It sits perfectly in an office, a daytime meeting, a business lunch, or any setting where a heavy oriental would be too much. Spring and autumn suit it best, and it holds up well through a Qatari winter afternoon outdoors. The opening projects strongly for the first couple of hours before easing into an arm's length trail that lasts the working day. If you already own Asad or Khamrah and want something from the same house that behaves completely differently, this is that bottle, and it delivers a properly composed European fougere structure without the price tag attached to the designer originals.
