Seeds of the tall date palms

Date palms are evergreen, considered one of the most beautiful palm trees, where their crown's beauty matches the branching of their curved fronds that resemble feathers, on a smooth gray trunk surrounded by remnants of old fronds. They produce fruit similar to dates, edible, cultivated at the entrances of homes, along roadsides, and in gardens and parks. Scientific name: Syagrus romanzoffiana. Other names: Queen Palm. Planting time: during moderate times of the year at a soil temperature of 32 degrees Celsius. Height: 15-18 meters. Method of planting Cox palms by seeds: soak the seeds in water for 3-4 days, changing the water daily, then plant in light, rich soil, preferably a mixture of peat moss and sand, and water with a little water while maintaining soil moisture until germination. Germination occurs within 2-4 months after planting; after germination, at a soil temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, then transfer to a place with full sunlight gradually.
