Family: أملجاوات (Phyllanthaceae). Native homeland: India, Mediterranean Basin. Fruit: spherical shape, closer to bitter, light green in color. Height: the tree can reach up to 4 meters. Planting season: from September (9) to April (4). It can be planted at any time of the year outside these climatic conditions in greenhouses. Harvesting season: from October (10) to March (3). Benefits of Amla fruit and its uses: oil is extracted from it, known as Amla oil. Useful in detoxifying the liver and dissolving fats. Rich in vitamin C. Lowers cholesterol levels. An effective treatment for throat infections and cough. Acts as a diuretic and helps the body eliminate toxins. Growing Amla fruit and environmental conditions: can be cultivated in moderate, dry, and humid areas, and can also be grown in any moderate climate conditions such as in greenhouses.
