Product description: Gaviscon syrup is used to relieve heartburn, acidity, and indigestion caused by acid reflux from the stomach to the esophagus. It helps reduce the sensation of burning and discomfort, especially after meals or during pregnancy, and is also used in cases of increased stomach acidity. It can also be used with or after stopping medications that reduce stomach acid secretion. Indications for use: - Heartburn - Excess acidity - Gastroesophageal reflux - Acidic indigestion - Reflux symptoms during pregnancy Method of use: For adults and children over 12 years: 10–20 ml after meals and at bedtime up to 4 times daily. Taken orally. It is preferable to leave a two-hour gap between it and any other oral medications. Warnings and precautions: Contains a sodium content, so caution is advised for patients with: - High blood pressure - Heart conditions - Kidney issues - Following a low-salt diet Use with caution in the presence of: - High calcium levels in the blood - Recurrent kidney stones Not to be used if allergic to any of its ingredients.
