RipaDerm Gel 1% Isosorbide Dinitrate 5% – 100 grams What is the medication and its use? Isosorbide is a substance that works to stabilize blood vessels, reduce fluid leakage into tissues, help decrease swelling, and accelerate the disappearance of edema, with a reduction in inflammation and improvement of local circulation. Dinitrate is a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory. It is used to relieve: Muscle and joint pains and inflammations Sprains, bruises, hematomas, and blood clots Tendon and tendon sheath inflammation Varicose veins and thrombophlebitis Neck and back pain and spine-related problems Care of veins after injections It is not used in the following cases: Allergy to isosorbide or dinitrate or any component of the medication On mucous membranes On broken, ulcerated, or eczema-affected skin, or areas exposed to radiation therapy Warnings and precautions: Stop use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist if allergic symptoms appear such as skin rash, facial or neck swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness, or low blood pressure. If symptoms do not improve or worsen, a medical evaluation is necessary. For external use only.
