Product description: Mikardis Plus combines two active ingredients in one tablet: Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, and they are used together to control high blood pressure in adults who have not responded sufficiently to Telmisartan alone. Telmisartan: an angiotensin II receptor blocker, a substance secreted by the body that causes blood vessel constriction and increased pressure. The medication works to prevent its effect, leading to vessel relaxation and blood pressure reduction. Hydrochlorothiazide: a thiazide diuretic that helps eliminate excess fluids and reduce blood pressure. High blood pressure may lead to serious complications such as heart attacks, strokes, kidney failure, and vision loss. It often causes no symptoms, so regular blood pressure monitoring is recommended. Usage instructions: Take the medication exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Recommended dose: one tablet daily. Try to take the dose at the same time every day. Mikardis Plus can be taken with or without food. Tablets are swallowed with water. Continue treatment daily unless the doctor advises otherwise.
